More than 11,000 companies are active in the real estate industry in Hamburg. So far, however, there has not been a regular meeting point for decision-makers and visionaries of the industry. That has changed with the third instalment of Hamburg Real Estate Night. Together with the main sponsor of MAGNA REAL ESTATE, the most important executives of the real estate industry met on September 10th in a spectacular new location, the TORTUE Hotel Hamburg.
Our guests included: Hadi Teherani, Frank Bohlander (Quantum), Christian Philipp Völkers (Engel & Völkers), André Poitiers (Poitiers Architects), Marc K. Thiel (Gerch Group), Marcus Huckfeldt-Weber (Adolf Weber KG), Olaf Drossert (Becken Immobilien) as well as entrepreneur and Hamburg´s former Senator for Economics and Labor – Ian Karan.
As at the first Hamburg Real Estate Night, the initiators Christian von Järten (VON JÄRTEN & CIE Immobilien) and Gunnar Henke (Henke Relations GmbH) expected around 240 industry experts. Other partners were Dirk Jessen (Mazars), Dr. Sebastian Kühl and Dr. Friedrich ‐ Carl Freiherr von Gersdorff (Huth Dietrich Hahn), Philipp Stodtmeister (Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft). Our guests have discussed the current challenges of residential construction, missing and expensive spaces, increased construction costs, new project developments, citizen and NABU initiatives against densification, digital transformation and much more.
Instead of lectures, presentations or discussions, the evening was accompanied by cool music, the unique dishes from TORTUE Hamburg and the sounds of the Hamburg saxophonist Inusa Dawuda. ‘We were very pleased to present this industry meeting, which is so important for Hamburg and northern Germany,’ said David Liebig (CEO of MAGNA REAL ESTATE).
